Australia and New Zealand: study, work while you do it, then stay on for two to three years on a post-study visa — with your family beside you.
What you need
Why this option
Why Australia and New Zealand
Your family travels and works with youA dependent spouse can hold work rights, and school-age children attend local schools. Few other regions offer that from day one.
Wages that make part-time work meaningfulBoth countries have high minimum wages, so 48 hours a fortnight genuinely covers living costs rather than topping them up.
Study in a field the country is short ofNursing, teaching, engineering, IT and the trades appear on skills shortage lists, which shortens the path from graduate to resident.
Post-study work is granted, not gambled onComplete an eligible qualification and the Temporary Graduate visa (Australia) or Post Study Work visa (New Zealand) follows without needing an employer sponsor.

English-speaking, low tuition and a straightforward visa. The University of the South Pacific is a practical option for students who want a Commonwealth degree on a small budget.
The part that decides your case
Australia and New Zealand both assess whether you are a real student with a reason to return or progress lawfully. It is the single biggest cause of refusal for West African applicants, and it is written, not guessed.
Why this course, and why nowYour statement has to connect your WASSCE subjects or first degree, your work history and this specific programme.
Why this country and this universityNaming the campus, the units and the accreditation shows research. Generic praise for the country does the opposite.
Who is paying, and how they earned itSponsor income needs a traceable source — salary slips, business registration, farm or rent income with records behind it.
What you intend to do afterwardsA credible plan, whether that is the graduate visa, skilled migration or returning to a defined role at home.

Generally yes. A dependent partner accompanying a student can usually hold work rights, and in Australia those rights are broader when you are studying at masters level or above. We confirm the current position for your exact course before you apply.
Tuition plus living costs for a year. Australia's living-cost figure is around AUD 29,710 and New Zealand's around NZD 20,000, on top of fees and travel. Add funds for each dependent travelling with you.
In almost all cases, yes — IELTS, PTE Academic or TOEFL. Universities typically want 6.0 to 6.5 overall, and some courses such as nursing and teaching ask for 7.0. We help you pick the test and book it.
Yes in Australia — Overseas Student Health Cover for the full length of your visa, purchased before you lodge. New Zealand requires approved travel and health insurance for your stay. We arrange both.
Australia's Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) gives two to three years of full work rights depending on your qualification. New Zealand's Post Study Work visa gives up to three years. Both can lead into skilled migration if your occupation is in demand.
They are the most scrutinised files we handle, and refusal rates for our region are real. That is exactly why we spend the most preparation time here — the evidence, the statement and the sponsor trail all have to hold up together.
